As a long-standing Chapter Advisor, I serve as a mentor, coach, and advocate for collegiate leaders—guiding them through the challenges and opportunities of chapter management while cultivating lifelong leadership skills. In this volunteer role, I provide consistent, values-based support that strengthens chapter operations, promotes personal growth, and ensures alignment with Gamma Phi Beta’s mission.

  • Advise chapter President and Executive Council members in areas such as strategic planning, goal setting, conflict resolution, and organizational development.

  • Foster a supportive environment for leadership growth, offering personalized mentorship and constructive feedback that empowers young women to lead with confidence.

  • Collaborate with chapter officers, volunteers, and International Headquarters staff to uphold Sorority standards, drive operational excellence, and maintain compliance with organizational policies.

  • Encourage professional development and values-based decision-making to support both the short-term success of the chapter and long-term success of individual members.

  • Provide guidance on recruitment, financial management, membership education, risk management, and event planning—ensuring chapters are equipped to thrive.

At Fenton Ballet Theatre, I support the creative and operational heartbeat of our productions—uniting artistry, collaboration, and community engagement to elevate the performing arts. In this volunteer leadership role, I contribute to the strategic development and seamless execution of both signature performances and special events, reinforcing our commitment to cultural enrichment and artistic excellence.

  • Partner in the planning, coordination, and delivery of full-scale productions, including The Nutcracker, Cinderella, Coppelia, Hansel & Gretel, Madeline, and Sleeping Beauty.

  • Collaborate closely with choreographers, directors, and technical teams to enhance production quality and showcase diverse talent.

As the founding Chairperson of the 1980 Society, I led the creation and launch of ScotDance USA’s first USIR dedicated donor engagement and fundraising initiative. Designed to secure sustainable financial support for the organization’s national championships weekend, the 1980 Society represents a forward-thinking approach to nonprofit development within the Scottish Highland dance community.

  • Conceptualized and established the 1980 Society, a visionary fundraising program named in honor of ScotDance USA’s founding year.

  • Developed the society’s structure, branding, messaging, and donor experience to encourage long-term philanthropic investment.

  • Successfully raised $40,000 in the program’s first year, setting a strong foundation for future growth and financial sustainability.

  • Engaged donors through meaningful recognition and exclusive event access that connected them to the mission and impact of ScotDance USA.

As Website Designer and Manager for ScotDance USA Midwest, I lead the ongoing development and content management of the region’s digital hub—ensuring dancers, families, and organizers have timely access to essential information and resources. In 2025, I led a full website redesign and relaunch, transforming the user experience to better reflect the energy, clarity, and community focus of Highland dance in the Midwest.

  • Designed and implemented a modern, user-friendly layout focused on intuitive navigation, accessibility, and visual cohesion.

  • Maintain and update the site regularly with event announcements, competition details, blog posts, and regional news.

  • Prioritized quick access to core resources, enabling visitors to find what they need with minimal clicks.

  • Created a dynamic events calendar and streamlined content structure to better serve the diverse needs of the Highland dance community.

In my role as Vendor Liaison for the ScotDance USA National Championships, I oversee high-impact vendor partnerships that directly shape the quality, consistency, and financial sustainability of the organization’s premier national event. Through long-term relationship management and contract negotiation, I help deliver seamless, professional production experiences for dancers, families, and attendees across the country.

  • Negotiated three consecutive 6-year contracts with the event’s production provider, securing dance staging, A/V, stadium seating, and DJ services for national competitions.

  • Developed a turn-key production solution for host regions, providing consistency in event delivery and dramatically reducing the logistical burden on local planning teams.

  • Achieved over $60,000 in annual savings through vendor negotiations—preserving resources while elevating the attendee experience.

  • Review and approve all hotel and venue contracts to ensure alignment with event requirements, budget considerations, and year-over-year insights.

  • Apply institutional knowledge to advocate for fair pricing, strategic terms, and accommodations that meet the evolving needs of the national event.

As a proud member of the 150th Celebration Events Sub-Committee, I helped bring to life two immersive, coast-to-coast celebration weekends, uniting Gamma Phi Beta members from around the world. These multi-day events honored the Sorority’s rich history while creating meaningful, modern experiences for members of all ages.

  • Collaborated on the planning and execution of two large-scale, three-day celebration weekends hosted in major U.S. cities.

  • Led décor design and on-site implementation to reflect Gamma Phi Beta’s legacy and create memorable, welcoming atmospheres.

  • Played an integral role in venue selection—including hotels, banquets, off-site excursions, and dining experiences—that captured the spirit of each host city.

As Chairperson of the 2022 ScotDance USA National Championship, I led the planning and execution of a five-day premier Scottish Highland dance event, welcoming over 1,000 international attendees—including dancers, families, professionals, and supporters. With a focus on excellence, hospitality, and cultural tradition, I oversaw every aspect of this multi-faceted experience, ensuring an unforgettable and seamless event for all participants.

  • Directed all elements of a national, five-day event, featuring four full days of competitive dance—including the U.S. Inter-Regional Championship (USIR), the most prestigious Highland dance competition in the country.

  • Produced a banquet to honor U.S. finalists and Hall of Fame inductees, as well as cocktail receptions, breakout training sessions, and the Annual General Membership meeting.

  • Led strategic event coordination, venue selection, and vendor management—from securing contracts and sponsorships to managing food and beverage services.

  • Oversaw travel logistics for judges, pipers, and officials, and supervised a large volunteer staff to ensure on-site operations ran smoothly.

  • Designed all event materials and décor, curated awards, and created memorable moments that celebrated Scottish heritage and dance excellence.

Over the course of my service, I facilitated sessions for more than 500 attendees, helping shape thoughtful, values-based leaders prepared to make a lasting impact within their chapters and beyond.

  • Facilitated high-impact programming at REAL Leadership Conferences and Executive Council Retreats, both designed to train collegiate leaders in core areas like organizational strategy, effective communication, conflict resolution, and team dynamics.
